Though the Arabian Sea surrounds the fort from all sides. The waves hit the Fort continuously, it’s stone walls continue to stand strong and tall. The walls are 40 feet high & the fort is spread over 22 acres, having 19 towers and a huge number of turrets, each of which had a cannon installed on it, some of which have remained intact. The fort had a history since the 15th century and got strengthened in the 17th century. The 26 rounded bastions (Buruj) of the fort are still intact.
