Panaji or Panjim is the Capital of this State. Due to several beautiful beaches, this place is on the World tourist map & is well connected by Air, Train, and Road. Once you see this list, it is obvious that the two day morning to evening tours are hectic and may not cover every single beach. If you have a week to spend here, travel at your own pace to visit each beautiful beach and spend some time there. There are hundreds of hotels and each hotel has a restaurant, so staying and eating should not be a problem here. Christmas is a busy season here and prior Hotel booking is a must.
Panjim is a small City and you can enjoy moving here in a perfect picnic dress walking around the City. Explore the local market, watch a movie in the local theatre, roam around the banks of river Mandovi and enjoy the evening Paradise Cruise also. See local Goan dance and listen to Goan music on the Cruise in Mandovi river.
