Hyderabad and Ramoji Film City

Visit Ramoji Film City and Hyderabad

Hyderabad Tourism is currently a part of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Tourism. Ramoji Film City is just outside Hyderabad City. A City which has a lot of tourist attractions and it is an IT hub as well.
Pune to Hyderabad – 550 km.
You can travel by Train, Bus or your own vehicle.
Pune to Solapur via NH65 is a very good highway (as of 2016)
Mumbai to Hyderabad – 695 km.
Bangalore to Hyderabad – 570 km.
Hyderabad to Ramoji Film City – 25 km. Local transport is available or you can drive.


Char Minar HyderabadHyderabad is currently the Capital City for Andhra Pradesh and the new state of Telangana. Eventually, Amaravati will be the capital of Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad will continue to be the Capital for Telangana. So, Hyderabad is going to be the starting point for Telangana Tourism. Charminar is a famous mosque and monument & a global icon for Hyderabad.

Ramoji Film City tour

Ramoji Film City is a well-known attraction in Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh in the southern part of India. You will have great fun spending an entire day here with live music show, stunt show, playing some amazing games, having a tour of the Film city area and having good food. A destination for a one-day family trip. One or two nights stay at Hyderabad is a must if you want to cover all tourist places in the City.

Hyderabad Zoo


Hyderabad ZooThe zoo is also known as Nehru Zoological Park. It is an exciting place for family visit. The Zoo is located near Mir Alam Tank and is really big and you can walk around the park or rent a bicycle or ride the non-polluting (battery operated) vehicles to see the Zoo. The Giant Turtles, Giraffe, Lions are main attractions of this Zoo. Keep sufficient time to see the Zoo as the area of the Zoo is 380 acres. Children can enjoy a Toy train ride. There are food courts available within the Garden and you can’t carry disposable plastic bottles inside the Zoo.

Salar Jung Museum:

Salar Jung Museum Hyderabad

Salar Jung Museum is the largest one-person collection of antique pieces in the World. It is a large museum with 38 galleries and one of the three National Museums in India. You can see a fabulous collection of paintings, sculptures, carvings, ceramics, and much more. A must visit location during your Hyderabad visit.

Birla Mandir

The ‘Birla Foundation’ in India constructed several ‘White Marble’ temples all over India. These all temples are known as ‘Birla Mandir*. You can see one such magnificent Birla Mandir in Hyderabad also. This temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara (of Tirumala Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh). The temple took 10 years to complete, and about 2000 tons of white marble was brought from Rajasthan for building it. This is located on the top of a hill of 280 feet, also known as Naubat Pahad. The temple is open at the specific time and you can get a good view of the Hyderabad City from this temple. You need to deposit the cell phones at the counter while entering the temple. The temple is open since 1976 and like all other Birla Mandirs, this is also a must visit part of the trip. (*Mandir means Temple)
 

You have a choice of various hotels to stay in the City. Veg and Non-veg food available in several restaurants and a special type of rice called as ‘Hyderabad Biryani’ is a food item you must taste!
