Special advice for foreigners

Travelling by Train to major Railway Stations in India like from one State to another is easiest and cheapest. Once you go to a particular state and want to travel interiors of the State, Bus Transport or Taxi could be a better option. Near all major tourist attractions, you will find comfortable hotels. If you are travelling from another Country, prefer a 3-star, 4-star or 5-star hotel to meet the basic expectations you will have from a good hotel.

Air travel is also affordable and if the Train is going to take more than 8 hours, you nay go with Air Travel if the budget allows. Select Shivneri Bus service (operated by State Transport) in Maharashtra State or other Volvo State Transport buses for a comfortable journey. These buses cost more than the regular state transport buses, but if you are visiting from any other Country, they are not very costly.
